AI solutions company HUMAIN has appointed a new CHRO to lead to the company's people strategy, maintain workforce agility and a high performance culture

HUMAIN has appointed Hani Alahdal as its new Chief Human Resources Officer, effective immediately. 

The company – which is backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund – said it was “thrilled” to welcome Hani on LinkedIn, as it looks to accelerate the development of AI infrastructure in the region. 

The company says: “At HUMAIN, Hani will spearhead our full human capital agenda, ensuring we remain agile, performance-driven and aligned with our mission to shape the future of human-centred AI.”

Two decades of human resources leadership

Hani joins HUMAIN from Saudi Telecom Company, where he held the role of Vice President of the HR Centre of Excellence for close to four years. 

According to Saudi Telecom Company, it has transformed its people strategy in recent years as it focuses on preparing its workforce for a digital-first model – with Hani “driving group-wide innovation and policy architecture,” says HUMAIN. 

Saudi Telecom Group is also working with HUMAIN as part of a joint venture to build 1GW of AI data centres in Saudi Arabia, which looks to improve AI readiness in the region. 

Hani has nearly two decades of in HR leadership, with experience in developing human capital strategies and playing a key role in organisational transformation across businesses. He also sits on executive committees that advise on governance and executive compensation across Saudi Arabia. 

HUMAIN says Hani will “lead HUMAIN’s people strategy, governance framework and talent ecosystem by shaping a high-performance, future-ready organisation aligned with our long-term vision.”

Commenting on the role he will play at HUMAIN, Hani says: “Human talent is the force multiplier behind every AI breakthrough.” 

HUMAIN’s rapid growth

HUMAIN says that Hani is joining the company at “a pivotal moment” as it looks to maintain the rapid growth and “build the foundations to deliver AI at a global scale.”

Launched in May 2025 by Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, HUMAIN is a key component of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy, which looks to diversify the region’s economy and transform it into a global AI leader. 

Since this launch, the company has made deals with significant players in the AI space – such as NVIDIA, which it partnered with to build data centres across Saudi Arabia.

Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, said of the partnership: “AI is essential infrastructure: like electricity, every industry will use it and every country will build it. 

“Saudi Arabia intends to be a leading global AI hub. With NVIDIA-powered infrastructure deployed across the US and Saudi Arabia, Humain and its partners are building the innovation engine for the new industrial revolution.”

The partnership also includes HUMAIN’s plans to deploy up to 600,000 NVIDIA AI chips across three years to further develop its AI infrastructure, train HUMAIN’s chat models and advance its physical AI capabilities.
