Konecta & Lenovo Partner to Transform EX Through AI

Customer experience and digital service platform, Konecta, and tech giant Lenovo have announced an alliance.
The deal is said to enable both businesses to combine their “best-in-class technology solutions” with advanced customer capabilities, in a bid to replace fragmented contracts with an all-in-one AI-powered experience platform.
Both businesses are shifting their focus from managing hardware to improving the employee experience (EX) to better position themselves as market disruptors.
Both Konecta and Lenovo are said to be challenging enterprises to cut ties with siloed vendors, by moving towards a holistic Digital Workplace Solution (DWS) that prioritises seamless integration over complex bureaucracy.
From vendor to strategic alliance
The partnership between Konecta and Lenovo began as a standard vendor agreement, having recently matured into a strategic alignment.
While Konecta is on a global initiative to modernise its workplace infrastructure, Lenovo has transitioned from being a hardware supplier to a primary architect of a new AI-driven, “labour-lite” operating model.
Konecta will continue to deploy Lenovo’s services across its international footprint as a part of its global workplace transformation programme. This is expected to impact more than 100,000 employees worldwide.
"This alliance reflects our ambition to rethink how technology and service come together,” said Julien Vidal, Konecta Group Chief Growth Officer. “By combining Lenovo's infrastructure leadership with Konecta's deep expertise in customer and employee experience, we are preparing the foundation for a new, integrated Digital Workplace model designed around simplicity, intelligence and user satisfaction.”
What’s more, the deal will permit a two-way exchange of expertise and innovation, allowing Lenovo to digitise Konecta’s internal framework.
Simultaneously, Konecta has taken over Lenovo’s global e-commerce platform, with expansion into the AI-enabled Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and CX capabilities being well underway.
Creating a global impact
The successful launch of operations in Egypt in September 2025 marked a pivotal milestone for this collaboration, as the move solidified the region’s emerging status as a critical global hub for digital services and customer experience excellence.
By continuing to deploy Lenovo’s services across its global footprint – as a part of its international workplace transformation programme – the business is expected to impact more than 100,000 employees worldwide.
“At the core of Digital Workplace initiatives is the need to improve employee experiences to unleash productivity, innovation and even creativity,” Rakshit Ghura, Vice President & General Manager at Lenovo Digital Workplace Solutions, said in a statement.
“Through our work with Konecta, we are bringing together Lenovo's AI-powered infrastructure, platforms and services with Konecta's expertise to help organisations deliver more seamless, intelligent and outcome-driven employee experiences.”
Treating employees as customers
External customer experiences have been undergoing a revolution over the past decade, while internal workflows have remained reactive and ticket-based. By forming an alliance, Konecta and Lenovo are aiming to close the gap by embedding high-end consumer CX standards into the workplace.
Through this shared vision, the businesses aim to pivot away from process-driven IT, which is typically rigid, and toward a model where employees are treated as valued customers.
By leveraging AI-powered chat, personalised omnichannel interactions and seamless back-office integration, the alliance is striving to create internal support as a premium digital service while prioritising proactive resolution over administrative friction.
By allying, Konecta and Lenovo are aiming to position themselves as a “forward-looking alternative to traditional IT service models,” rather than layering additional providers and complexities.
Aligning hardware, infrastructure, lifecycle services and user support expertise, the Konecta-Lenovo alliance will allow the businesses to coordinate a strategic vision, while laying the groundwork for a new Digital Workplace paradigm.
